Windows 10 Update v2004 breaks NX1884, Simcenter 3D 2019.2 (v1884), Teamcenter 188.8.131.52, Integrations and all prior releases
As a OnePLM customer, we’d like to inform you that the latest Windows 10 update v2004 released in May 2020, contains a bug which prevents the following products from launching:
– Simcenter 3D 2019.2 (v1884)
– Teamcenter Integration products that use the SOA Client (v184.108.40.206)
– Teamcenter Visualization (v220.127.116.11)
– Foundation Viewer in RAC and Tecnomatix (v18.104.22.168)
*And ALL prior releases of the above*
Further information can be found within the Software Field Bulletins released by Siemens:
NX & Simcenter
The current work around is to NOT upgrade to Windows 10 v2004 using the May 2020 Update.
Made the update already or considering updating?
The Siemens recommendation is to contact Microsoft if you have already updated Windows 10 to this release. Delay your Windows update to a release that has a fix for this issue.
We at OnePLM thank you for your patience and understanding. Any news and updates will be added to this page once we receive it. Please rest assured that Siemens are working with Microsoft to fix this issue.
**Fixed in Microsoft update**
2020-07 Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 10 Version 2004 for x64-based Systems (KB4568831) contains the fix to this issue.
